‘Ring….ring’ the alarm rang as Vanya slammed it off. She woke up with a yawn and stretched her body. Then she got up and walked toward her daughter room.
“Sweetie pie!” she called out as she woke her daughter up and took her in the lap. The little one stirred a little, squinted her eyes open, then closed it, and burrowed in the lap.
“Avni!” she called out and started to take her to the bathroom.
“Mamma! Let me sleep!” the four year old girl cried out as water was splashed on her face.
“No, you aren’t going to sleep. Today mamma has taken a day off and we are going to look for a school for you” Vanya said and applied toothpaste on her brush and gave it to her.
“Is it important to go to school? Can’t I be home-schooled?” she asked, as she started to brush her teeth.
“You will start to enjoy the school once you blend in” Vanya said as she helped her gargle her mouth. She then set Avni down and told her to wait for her at the dining table until she freshen up.
“What would my little warrior wants for breakfast?” Vanya asked as she entered in the kitchen.
“Dosa and Sambhar!” Avni exclaimed as she jiggled in excitement.
“Don’t you get tired eating the same thing continuously?” Vanya asked as she heated the pan.
“Nope!” the little one replied and shook her head from side to side.
This reminded her of an incident of her past.
“What do you want to eat for breakfast?” Vanya asked she put on a clip on her hair and entered the kitchen.
“Dosa!” the person replied as he sneaked his hands on her waist.
“Don’t you get tired eating the same thing continuously?” she asked, exasperated.
“Nope, never” the person replied and shook his head and planted a kiss on her neck. Vanya giggled at his antics and came out of his hold.
“Okay! Now let me make your breakfast!” she said as she heated the pan.
“Momma momma!” Avni shook her when she noticed Vanya lost in her thoughts and breaking her chain of thought. Vanya shook her head to clear her head and focused on making breakfast from them.
“Here, my little warrior!” she said as she served Avni. Then she also plated the dosa for herself and sat down to eat.
After finishing the breakfast, Vanya cleaned the table and Avni tried to help as much as she can.
Then they got ready and left to look for a school for Avni.

“You are going to abandon your mother in this place!” a woman yelled as she hurled down the basket of fruits on the ground.
“After what you did to me, this can be the best thing I can do for you” the man aka Anan replied.
“All the things I did was for you! Would you have all this if I hadn’t pushed you for it” Anamika said, she could not understand where she had gone wrong.
“But did I even want all this!” Anan replied “and you will never realize you were wrong”
After saying, Anan got out from the room and left for his helicopter that was waiting for him.
He got in and helicopter set off. Anan looked down from and released a heavy breadth that he felt he was holding from a long time.
Finally, after many years he was able to break free from the strings that was controlling and making him live like a puppet. Moreover, isn’t it sad the person who made his life hell was none other than the woman who brought him into this world.
The woman who would have become the shield in his life become the very reason he could not breathe freely. All he wanted someone who would understand him and see what he really wanted and not someone who would impose their wishes and ambitions on him.
He even found the light of his life and the source of his happiness and comfort in the embrace of someone but in the end, he had to push her away from him from his own hands in order to keep her safe from his mother claws.
Now, he is finally free and now he wanted to set things right.
The helicopter landed on the roof of his house and his train of thoughts got broken. He got out and headed straight toward his bedroom.
He went in the bathroom, stripped his clothes of, and got under the shower. After bathing himself, he got out and picked a black three-piece suit to wear.
He looked in the mirror and realized what he had become. From a boy who just wished to lived happily with his family to a ruthless businessperson who fought tooth and nail just to survive.
He took out the necklace, which he was wearing, and from it, a ring was hanging.
“Would you forgive me and give me a chance!” Anan asked, looking at the ring. It felt as if he was looking at her through the ring.
It has been six years since he last saw her. Six years he could just dream of her and was not able to see her and go near her.
Now he is the master of his destiny. Even he had to beg her, he will beg until he gets her forgiveness.
He fisted the ring and took the oath to himself.
